I tried booking online and it was a headache. The pages were loading really slowly, the dates kept glitching or changing weirdly, and after I paid I wasn’t even sure if it had actually gone through. I ended up refreshing a few times and basically starting over, which was super annoying. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “Try clearing your browser or refreshing the page,” which didn’t really help much in the moment. For something that should’ve taken a couple minutes, it felt like way more work than necessary. Not the best first impression.

"Pretty messy and not really worth it"
I went for an event and left kind of annoyed... parking was confusing, the lines were moving so slow, and different staff members kept telling us different places to go. For what it cost, it just felt really poorly organized. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

"Am I missing something with the advanced terrain?"
I went mainly for the advanced terrain, am I missing something? It just didn’t really feel worth the trip to me. A couple of runs were fun, but a lot of it felt icy and not very well marked, which made it more frustrating than exciting. The lift lines were slow too, so that didn’t help. Maybe it’s a totally different experience on a good snow day, but my visit was underwhelming.

I went in hoping for a relaxed day, but it was just way too packed. Parking was a hassle, the lines were long, and everywhere you turned there were crowds. It’s not even about having to wait a little here and there, it just felt like most of the time was spent standing around instead of actually enjoying anything. Hard to unwind in that kind of atmosphere. Not really worth it for me.

I went to Gunstock hoping for a solid mix of trails, but the mountain felt limited. A lot of the runs started to feel the same after a while, so it got boring quicker than I expected. If you’re looking for more variety or anything a little more challenging, I don’t think there’s a ton here. I also reached out with a question beforehand and the email response felt like it was written by a robot, which didn’t help the experience. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the trip for me.

The location was definitely easy to get to, and parking wasn’t too bad, which I appreciated. That said, getting around the place felt a little awkward in a few spots, and I think the accessibility could be better. I’m not sure if it was just my experience or if other people noticed the same thing. Overall, it was okay, but average for me...

The parking situation was a mess. The spots were way too far from the entrance, and by the time I got there I was already annoyed, not exactly the best start. For me, it just wasn’t worth the hassle

The trail grooming was bad when I went. A lot of the runs felt icy and all rutted up, like they hadn’t really been groomed much at all. For what the lift ticket cost, it just didn’t feel worth it

"Spent Way More Time Waiting Than Riding"
I got there thinking the lift delay would be no big deal, maybe just a quick hiccup, but nope. I ended up standing around way more than actually riding, and it pretty much ruined the day for me.

I was in a good mood when I got there, but the lift lines were so crazy long all day that it got frustrating fast. Felt like we spent more time waiting than actually riding.

"Frustrating customer service and policy loopholes"
The customer service was disappointing. The person I dealt with came off as rude and didn’t really seem interested in helping. What made it worse was how they kept leaning on little policy loopholes instead of actually trying to fix the issue. It felt like they had an excuse for everything. Definitely not planning to order from them again.

"I ordered from gunstock.com and the item..."
I ordered from gunstock.com and the item itself was decent, so I can’t really complain too much there. But the safety-related stuff felt a little too vague for my comfort. The instructions were basic, and I felt like some important handling information was just left out, so I ended up having to search around on my own. That doesn’t feel great with something like this. I did contact customer service, but i didn’t come away feeling like I could fully trust their answers. They responded, but it was kind of unclear and not very reassuring. Overall, not a terrible experience, but I really think they need to take the safety side and support side more seriously

The rental skis were old, old and worn out. They just didn’t feel like they worked right, and I had a rough time using them.

I’m new to this, and I got confused almost right away. Nothing felt easy to follow, and it kind of felt like I was being pushed through some automated system instead of actually being helped. After a while I just got frustrated and gave up...

"Honestly, the food was kind of embarrassing"
I went in expecting the food and drinks to at least be decent, but it was disappointing. I felt a little embarrassed that I brought someone there. My burger was dry, the fries tasted like they’d been sitting around, and the soda was flat. The prices just made it feel even worse. The staff was nice enough, but the food really wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t go back.

"Ski school was "okay," but not amazing"
We put our kids in ski school at Gunstock, and overall it was a mixed experience. The instructor was really nice and patient, which I appreciated, but the group seemed a bit too big, so my kids didn’t get as much one-on-one help as I was hoping for.
They did pick up some basics and were having fun by the end, so it definitely wasn’t bad. I just wish drop-off had been more organized and that it was clearer what level they were placed in. It was "fine," but I think it could be better.

"Zipline felt disappointing"
I went mainly for the zipline, i left a bit annoyed. The wait was really long, the staff seemed like they were rushing everyone through, and the actual ride felt way shorter than what I expected. For what they’re charging, it kind of feels like they’re overselling the experience a little. I don’t think I’d go back.
